The Kay County Amateur Radio Club supports the activities of Amateur Radio ("Ham") operators throughout Kay County and the North Central Oklahoma area including Ponca City, Shidler, Tonkawa, Newkirk, and Blackwell.

KCARC operates three open FM repeaters located in the Ponca City, Oklahoma area. If you are a licensed Amateur Radio operator, join us on the air!  Our repeaters are on 146.970 MHz (No PL), 146.730 MHz (No PL) There is an Echolink connection (node # 189792) available on the 146.730 repeater. We also operate a 440 repeater on 444.700 MHz (PL 88.5). All repeaters are open and autopatch priveleges are available to all club members on  the 146.970 machine.

Club meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM.  Meetings are normally held at the KCARC club station, located at the Salvation Army Center, 711 S. 3rd. in Ponca City.  In addition, the club also holds a monthly Club Breakfast. The breakfast is held on the first Saturday morning of each month at 8:00 AM.  Location of the breakfast  rotates and is announced on the weekly Monday night net on 146.970 at 9:00PM.
